Web Quest




TITLE:-


COMPUTER SYSTEM


Introduction:-
A computer is an electronic machine which has many parts as human beings are having. Each part plays a different and important role to the user. This web quest will help you to identify and explore the different parts of a computer.

Task:-
As a computer hardware technician, you regularly open computers and examining the parts and repairing the computers. You are asked to give training to the newly joined recruits. You are responsible to well verse them in parts of computers.


Here are questions you need to answer


1.What is a computer?
2. What are the types of computers and computer systems?
3. List what is inside of a typical computer?
4. What are the peripherals?
5. What are the input devices and their functions?
6. What are the output devices and their functions?
7. What is a CPU?
8. Explain the different storage devices you can use.
9. How do computers communicate with each other?



The Process


1. Copy the questions into a word document.
2. Visit each of the links to explore the elements of a computer system. As you locate the answers to the question insert each one into the document.
3. When you are finished, in the same document create a table identifying the following items:
4. List the basic hardware of a home computer.
5. Identify each part according to Input, Output, Storage, and Communications devices .
6. Print out a copy of the document.
7. Save a copy to your folder.


Conclusion
As you have learned, computers are made up of many different parts. Each part plays an important role in the proper function of a computer system.
